ISIS Threatens Christmas

The Islamic State issued a series of online threats in recent days, once again warning of possible attacks during the Christmas holiday.  One image featured a photo of the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., in flames.

As jarring as these threats are, they should serve as a reality check for Western elites.  While we are in the middle of the season of peace, worshipping a God who said “Choose Life,” death worshipping jihadists are making it very clear that they intend to bring more destruction and sorrow to our homeland.

Thankfully, we have a president in office today who fully appreciates the danger we face.  Barack Obama often downplayed the threat from radical Islamic terrorism.  Unfortunately, our intelligence and law enforcement personnel have to be right 100% of the time, while jihadis only have to get it right once to inflict tremendous pain.

Speaking Of Christmas. . .

Several Hollywood celebrities and comedians are putting on a special Christmas performance next week benefitting Christian orphanages.  No, wait, that’s not it.  They are helping to raise funds for persecuted Christians in the Middle East.  Oh, sorry, wrong again.

Unbelievably, their Christmas celebration is being used to raise money for the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.

If King Herod were alive today, he’d have a photo on his wall signed by Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood.  In an attempt to kill Jesus, Herod ordered all babies two and under to be murdered.  Richards does him one better.  She promotes destroying innocent babies before they can take their first breath out of the womb.

By the way, during a recent interview, Richards exploited the “#MeToo” movement against sexual harassment to promote abortion.  She said:

“For years women have been ashamed of sharing their own stories, including about abortion — abortion stories — and it is only now that women are sharing them on social media and that they’re being covered in the news as actually part of women’s healthcare.”

Sorry, Cecile, but abortion is not healthcare!

As Christians prepare to celebrate Christmas and the birth of Christ, it is my hope and prayer that this reflection on the babe in the manger will renew our respect for the sanctity of life.

“Rigged System”

It’s a new day and there are new indications that the fix was in to exonerate Hillary Clinton.  At the same time, there are indications that a fix was being crafted to destroy Donald Trump in the “unlikely event” that he actually won.

Speaking to reporters at the White House this morning, President Trump blasted the investigation of Hillary Clinton as a “rigged system,” and said, “It’s a shame what’s happened with the FBI.  But we’re going to rebuild the FBI.”

My personal opinion is that Attorney General Sessions must do more to get to the bottom of this if we are going to restore confidence in our institutions.  Some people feel there is more going on that we don’t know.  The inspector general at the Department of Justice has a large staff and there are rumors going around town that he is seriously following through on these investigations.

Meanwhile, the Mueller investigation of President Trump, which seems to have started because of a conspiracy at the Justice Department to get him before the votes were counted, continues to grind on.

By the way, there are reports breaking today that Gloria Allred’s daughter “worked with [Clinton] campaign donors and tabloid media outlets” to pay women (as well as herself!) who were willing to publicly smear Donald Trump during last year’s campaign.  Is anyone really surprised?

Trump Praises Law Enforcement

Ever since he fired James Comey, the left-wing media have been trying to convince people that Trump despises the FBI.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  He despises the people who are using the FBI to promote their own agenda.

Donald Trump ran on a law and order platform.  He loves the men and women of law enforcement.

Today, President Trump addressed the FBI’s National Academy graduation ceremony.  His remarks was interrupted repeatedly with applause.  Here are a few excerpts:

“You are always there for us, the men and women in blue, in the dark of night, in the rush of danger, you break down doors, race down alleys, chase down suspects and bring down criminals.  And you do it with strength, and skill and pride.

“There’s a reason that your children look up to you with their eyes full of awe and full of wonder. . . Because to them and to all of us, and to me, you are the guardians who keep us safe, who ward off danger and who confront evil so that the good will always prevail.  You represent the best of America and you leave us with a debt we can never hope to repay.

“Today, we honor you.  We thank you. And we know that by your example some of the children here today and watching at home will be inspired to fill your shoes, to continue your service, to follow in your footsteps and to take the oath, to carry the badge, to wear the shield and to join the ranks of heroes.

“Thank you to our police.  Thank you to our sheriffs.  Thank you to the FBI.  And thank you to our law enforcement families.  God bless you all.”

About That Insurance. . .

Lots of questions are being asked today about that so-called “insurance policy” Clinton loyalist Peter Strzok referred to in a text to his mistress, Lisa Page.  Strzok and Page both worked at the FBI and were also part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team investigating President Trump until their texts were discovered this summer.

Government workers are allowed to have personal opinions.  But Strzok and Page made no attempt to hide their bias and disdain for Trump and his “deplorables.”  Consider this exchange:

STRZOK:  Just went to a southern Virginia Walmart. I could SMELL the Trump support…

PAGE:  Yep. Out to lunch with [REDACTED].  We both hate everyone and everything.

We have also learned in recent days that Fusion GPS, the firm Hillary Clinton used to produce the Trump/Russia dossier, hired Nellie Ohr to work on “research and analysis” of Donald Trump.

Nellie Ohr just happens to be the wife of Bruce Ohr, a top Justice Department official.  And, according to The Daily Callercourt records show that she got her job with Fusion GPS at her husband’s request!  That can’t be a coincidence.

Here’s more context about Strzok’s “insurance policy.”  In that same exchange with Lisa Page, he mentioned a discussion they had “in Andy’s office.”  Most observers think he was referring to Andrew McCabe, the FBI’s deputy director.

You may recall that McCabe’s wife was a Democrat candidate for the state legislature in Virginia.  She got hundreds of thousands of dollars from Terry McAuliffe, who is a close confidant of Bill and Hillary Clinton.  McCabe, like Strzok, played a key role in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

This meeting of top FBI officials, when they discussed their so-called “insurance policy” — was really a meeting of Clinton supporters.  And according to the Wall Street Journalit “came on the heels of the FBI’s launch of its counterintelligence probe into Trump-Russia ties.”

When you have a morning meeting in your office, you may talk about company profits, promotions or last night’s big game.  These hacks were seething with anger toward Donald Trump and Middle America on government time — your dime.  And it appears as if they were contriving “insurance policies” to derail a candidate who wanted to make America great again.

What is more disturbing:  That Kremlin operatives tried to interfere with our election or that U.S. bureaucrats tried to overturn an election?

Gowdy Gets It

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appeared before the House Judiciary Committee yesterday to defend the Mueller investigation, which I believe has lost all credibility at this stage.

Rep. Trey Gowdy, a former prosecutor, tore into Mueller’s team and the left-wing culture that seems to dominate the FBI today.  Watch his remarks here.  (Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.)

Be certain to share this report with your friends and family members.  If they are only watching the “mainstream media,” they aren’t getting even half of the real story, just anti-Trump distortions.

Speaking Of Distortions. . .

There’s a new poll out today demonstrating the power of big media to drive the narrative.  According to the results, most Americans oppose the tax cut legislation currently under debate in Congress and more voters than not believe it will raise their taxes.

Anyone who thinks Donald Trump is going to raise their taxes is a victim of “fake news.”

Let me give you one example.  There has been a lot of commentary suggesting that Trump will destroy the housing market.  Why? Because the tax bill includes a provision that caps the amount of mortgage interest that is deductible.

Here’s what you need to know:  That cap will only apply to mortgages of $750,000 or more.  The number of people in America who have mortgages greater than $750,000 is very small.  And if you already have a mortgage greater than that, you’re not affected.  It applies only to home purchases made next year and beyond.

There are many positive elements in the tax bill such as:

  • Lower individual tax rates.
  • Lower business and corporate tax rates.
  • Doubling of the standard deduction.
  • Doubling of the per-child tax credit.
  • A $10,000 deduction for property taxes or state and local income taxes.
  • Deductions for medical expenses.
  • Repeal of Obamacare’s individual mandate.

Congressional negotiators are still trying to nail down last-minute details, and we will provide additional analysis once the final package is presented for a vote.

Alabama Apocalypse

For the first time in a quarter of a century, the people of Alabama have elected a Democrat to the United States Senate.  Doug Jones narrowly defeated Roy Moore last night 49.9% to 48.4%.  Here’s my analysis of the race and its impact.

  • While conservatives may have been split over Moore, this is really bad news for the agenda that presumably all conservatives support.  Republicans who couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Moore, whatever his flaws, just made Barack Obama’s, Hillary Clinton’s and Chuck Schumer’s day.  They elected a pro-abortionbig governmentopen borders leftist to Washington, D.C., who is dedicated to stopping Trump’s conservative agenda.

  • As the Obamacare debate demonstrated, we do not have a conservative majority in the Senate.  Republicans have had to worry about Sens. Collins, Corker, Flake, McCain and Murkowski on just about every major vote. We could lose two of those five and Vice President Pence could still provide the tie-breaking vote on things we care about, including judges. But once Jones is seated, the margin will be 51-to-49, meaning we can only afford to lose one rogue RINO.

  • This morning, I heard some commentators suggest that because Jones is from Alabama he will be a center-right vote in the Senate.  Well, there are several Democrats representing states that Donald Trump won by big margins who vote like liberals.  Claire McCaskill (D-MO), Joe Donnelly (D-IN) and Jon Tester (D-MT) come to mind.

  • Memo to Fox News:  Fire your pollster.  For some time now, Fox News polls have been getting elections wrong by constantly underestimating the conservative vote.  A Fox poll released Monday had Jones winning by a 10-point landslide.  Either Foxis using bad data or the poll is pushing an agenda so that it does not measure opinion, but instead serves to drive opinion by demoralizing conservative voters.

  • The left is fired up. Just like in Virginia last month, Democrats voted in large numbers while Republicans did not.  Total voter turnout (40.5%) far exceeded official expectations of just 25%.  The result is that the Democrat vote approached presidential levels, with Jones getting more than 90% of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 vote, while Moore’s support was just half of what Donald Trump received.

  • The write-in effort had an impact.  Jones prevailed by only 20,715 votes out of 1,344,406 cast.  There were nearly 23,000 write-in votes for other candidates.

A Look Into The Deep State

Last week, we reported on the shocking news that Peter Strzok, a top FBI official involved in the Clinton email investigation, was in fact a Clinton loyalist.  He was also involved in the investigation of Russia’s alleged interference in the election.

Strzok was fired from Robert Mueller’s team after text messages to his mistress, Lisa Page, were discovered.  Now we are finding out exactly what was in those messages.  Consider this exchange:

PAGE: “And maybe you’re meant to stay where you are because you’re meant to protect the country from that menace [Trump].”

STRZOK: “Thanks. . . And of course I’ll try and approach it that way. I just know it will be tough at times. I can protect our country at many levels, not sure if that helps.”

In another text, Strzok wrote that Trump’s victory was “f*****g terrifying.”

And he also wrote this to Page:

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office — that there’s no way [Trump] gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk.  It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

What on earth are they talking about? What exactly was that “insurance policy”?

Page and Strzok are supposed to be civil servants.  They are supposed to serve the American people and whomever the people choose as their president.  Instead, Page and Strzok sound like they get to decide who will become president.

Every American should have a chill down their spine when they read these messages.  If you ever wondered whether “Deep State” was being exaggerated, there’s your answer.

These people think they are better than you, better than our elected officials and they think they can decide how our country will be governed.  And they have power.

That mentality represents a bigger threat to the future of America than any leader of Russia.

In The Oval Office

Approximately two dozen faith-based leaders were invited to a Christmas lunch yesterday in the Eisenhower Building, part of the White House complex.  As I was driving to the lunch, I received a call telling me that we might be able to say “Hello” to President Trump in the Oval Office.

If that happened, I was asked to begin the conversation with the president in order to specifically thank him for his recognition of Jerusalem as the ancient and current capital of the Israeli people.

During our lunch in the historic Indian Treaty Room, I had a chance to speak with Ivanka Trump about her efforts to ensure that the tax cut bill will be more family friendly.  She is a strong advocate for doubling the per-child tax credit.

Moments later, Vice President Mike Pence dropped by and discussed all the significant accomplishments that have happened in the past year on the values issues that pro-family, pro-life conservatives have been advocating for so long.

From great court appointments to the sanctity of life, progress is being made.  In fact, a Huffington Post columnist recently whined:

“This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write and admit: Trump is winning. . .  Trump busily continues to pack the federal judiciary with a parade of ultra-conservative, strict constructionist Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia clones.”

After lunch, just as I had been told, we were invited to meet the president.  We left the Eisenhower Building, walked over to the West Wing of the White House and were ushered into the Oval Office.  We were greeted by President Trump, who was relaxed, confident and genuinely interested to hear about the issues we were working on.

As requested, I started the conversation and thanked the president for his declaration on Jerusalem.  I reminded the president that one year ago Barack Obama shamefully directed our U.N. ambassador to not veto a resolution that denied Israel’s sovereignty over Jerusalem.  That unprecedented betrayal occurred right before Christmas Eve and the beginning of Chanukah last year.

I pointed out to the president the great irony that the countries voting in favor of that obscene resolution did not even exist when Jews were living in Jerusalem.  And I praised him for his leadership because his recognition of Jerusalem largely made that U.N. vote irrelevant.

In our discussion that followed, other leaders, including my friends Dr. James Dobson and Ralph Reed, added their encouragement and congratulations to the president for his bold stands on a host of issues.

We were then asked if we wanted to talk to the ever-present press corps on the White House lawn about the issues we had discussed with the president.  We immediately agreed to this request and also agreed that we would speak in the same order we spoke in the Oval Office.

So, I led the group out to a clearly hostile gaggle of reporters and proceeded to commend the president for his courage on Jerusalem.  One so-called “journalist” yelled, “What about the Palestinians?”  Another sarcastically asked, “Do you support the Jerusalem move because you think it will make the rapture happen sooner?”

Most Americans would have been disgusted by the condescension of these media mavens.  But to the credit of my colleagues, we remained calm.  I have seen no reports of our remarks, undoubtedly because there was no way for the media to spin them to the president’s detriment.

One final thought:  As I drove home last night, I thanked God for the opportunities He continues to grant me to speak on behalf of our shared values here in the capital of the most powerful nation in the world.

And I thanked Him for all of you receiving this report.  Year after year, you have generously supported me, our staff and the work we do here, none of which would be possible without you!  I know there will be many more exciting days ahead.

Importing Hate

We are learning more about Akayed Ullah, the wannabe jihadi who tried to bomb a Manhattan subway station yesterday morning.  According to the Department of Homeland Security, Ullah entered the country in 2011 thanks to “chain migration.”

In other words, he only got in because another family member — one of the 141,000 Bangladeshis admitted since 2005 — had already won the so-called “diversity visa lottery.”

Various media outlets are reporting that Ullah was inspired by ISIS and targeted the Port Authority station because he hated the Christmas decorations on display there.  Moreover, his family members are now complaining about how the police interrogated them after the attempted suicide attack.  CAIR has already issued a statement attacking the police.

Instead of complaining, they should be thanking the police for stopping him before he did any more damage.

We have now experienced a series of attacks in which parents and wives of jihadists never said a word to the authorities.  Remember Noor Salman, wife of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooter?  She is currently standing trial in Florida on charges of obstruction of justice and giving support to a terrorist organization.

How about Tashfeen Malik?  She was the wife of Syed Farook and one of the San Bernardino jihadists.  Their home was reportedly filled with bombs and bullets.  Did no other family members notice?

When did we go from becoming a nation that welcomed people who loved us to a nation that imports people who hate us?

President Trump wants to end chain migration and return our immigration policy to a commonsense merit-based system.  His immigration proposals would have prevented the last two terrorist attacks.

Here’s an idea:  Perhaps we need a reverse chain migration system.  If you bring in a relative who kills someone in the name of Allah, you get deported back to wherever you came from.  Maybe then spouses, parents, aunts and uncles would start speaking up and reporting their radicalized family members.

Happy Chanukah

Carol and I extend our warmest wishes to all our Jewish friends and supporters. As an evangelical Christian, I have tremendous respect and admiration for the Jewish faith and the state of Israel.

As the celebration of the miracle of lights begins, I promise to continue to fight against the darkness of anti-Semitism and to work for the safety and security of America’s friend and ally Israel.

At The White House

What an incredible day!  Once again, I had the privilege of meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office.  I was there with 20 faith-based leaders.

Among other topics, we praised the president’s pro-Israel policies and presented him with an award for his courageous Jerusalem decision last week.  Then we briefed a pack of hostile, snarling reporters on the White House lawn.

NYC Dodges A Bomb

Two weeks ago, the Islamic State threatened a terrorist attack against New York City.  ISIS supporters posted a picture of Times Square with the caption, “We meet at Christmas in New York . . .  soon.”

This morning, Akayed Ullah, a 27 year-old wannabe suicide bomber, attempted to make good on that threat.  Ullah strapped a pipe bomb onto his chest and tried to detonate the device in an “underground passageway connecting the Times Square and Port Authority subway stations in Manhattan.”

Three people were injured in the attack.  Thankfully, no one was killed.  Ullah is reportedly a permanent resident from Bangladesh.

This bombing comes just six weeks after Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov murdered eight people in New York City with a rented truck.  Saipov was in the country thanks to the “diversity visa lottery.”

Let me repeat: The worst thing that can happen today is if they Mirandize this jihadist and tell him he has a right to remain silent and the right to an attorney.  We are not experiencing a crime wave.

We are in a war against Islamic supremacists.  We are being attacked by committed enemies, yet we are allowing our own constitutional rights to handcuff us in this battle.

Speaking of enemies, the Investigative Project on Terrorism reports that Sheikh Ramadan Elsabagh did not react well to President Trump’s formal recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.  The imam posted a prayer Thursday on his Facebook page calling on Allah to “destroy the Zionists and their allies.”

What makes Imam Elsabagh’s prayer particularly noteworthy is that his mosque is not in Gaza, but in Garland, Texas.

California.  South Carolina.  Tennessee.  Texas.  How many radical imams are preaching such hatred in America?  How many more Saipovs and Ullahs must we endure?

Fake News

ABC, CNN and the Washington Post all botched big stories in recent days.  All had to issue corrections and apologies.  As we reported last week, James Goldston, the president of ABC News, suspended veteran reporter Brian Ross for a month without pay.

To his credit, Goldston ripped the ABC staff for rushing a story without sufficient facts.  “I don’t think ever in my career have I felt more rage and disappointment and frustration than I felt through this weekend and through the last half of Friday,” Goldston said last week.

Unfortunately, most conservatives feel rage, disappointment and frustration on a regular basis due to the media’s left-wing bias.

Over this past weekend, Washington Post reporter David Weigel tweeted out a picture of a half-empty stadium at a Trump rally in Pensacola, Florida.  Weigel also mocked the president, suggesting his popularity was waning.

The only problem was that the picture Weigel posted was taken hours before the event started.  Weigel later deleted the post and apologized.  President Trump demanded he be fired.

Perhaps, the most egregious example of “fake news” came from CNN.  While some media outlets were reporting that other members of Special Counsel Mueller’s team have close Clinton ties — one even attended Hillary’s election night “victory” party — CNN refused to cover this breaking news.

Instead, the “Clinton News Network” was talking about a report that the Trump campaign allegedly colluded with WikiLeaks to release damning emails on Hillary Clinton.  Predictably, it was wrong.  Trump didn’t get a “sneak peek” at the emails.

One commentator noted this morning that all the media errors on Russian collusion only go one way.  Left-wing partisan hacks masquerading as journalists always assume guilt or evil intent on the part of Donald Trump, and they are eager to publish anything that puts the president in a negative light.

They act as if it is only a matter of time before “the smoking gun” is discovered.  And they are all rushing to be the reporter who breaks THAT story so they can write the book, “How I Took Down Donald Trump.”

Good News

Here’s some good news headlines that will hopefully add some Christmas cheer to your Monday:

  • Liberals are increasingly dismayed by their inability to block Senate confirmation of President Trump’s conservative judicial nominees.

  • The Trump Administration is protecting America’s sovereignty and recently pulled out of another Obama “global governance” effort that threatened, as Secretary of State Tillerson noted, to “undermine” our ability “to enforce our immigration laws and secure our borders.”

  • Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue is reversing an Obama-era policy that prohibited states from requiring food stamp recipients to pass drug tests.

Lindsey v. Mickey

This week saw two episodes that neatly capture the decline of our nation. U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn told a reporter that if she wins a medal in the upcoming Olympics set to start in February, she won’t visit the White House, as medal winners traditionally do. She said she hopes to represent “the people of the United States” in the Olympics, not “the president.”

I understand that when Olympians don the red, white and blue or visit the White House, they’re representing and honoring America, not the president. Still, this was a gratuitous shot at President Trump. We’ve seen numerous other athletes and championship teams refuse to attend White House ceremonies under President Trump. And many NFL players have clashed with Trump over their refusal to stand for the National Anthem.

Vonn, who is in her early 30s, is a perfect representative of the Millennial Generation that seems to believe history started yesterday and has a hard time separating their personal views of the president with the love and respect they should feel for their country. Vonn is hardly alone among her contemporaries. As I recently wrote in a Thanksgiving op-ed for the Washington Examiner, Patriotism is on the wane with more than one-third of millennials saying they are “not very” patriotic.

Meanwhile, yesterday on the 76th anniversary of Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, President Trump signed a proclamation honoring National Pearl Harbor Day. Trump welcomed to the White house six survivors of the attack.

One of Trump’s guests was Navy veteran Mickey Ganitch, who had football on his mind the morning of the attack. Ganitch had been assigned to the USS Pennsylvania at Pearl Harbor and was preparing to play the USS Arizona for the fleet championship that day.

He had his football uniform on and was about to leave for practice when “General Quarters” sounded throughout the ship. Instead of kneeling, Ganitch rushed to his battle station, the crow’s nest of the main mast of the ship. His ship got pummeled  by Japanese torpedoes, and one bomb missed Granitch by a mere 45 feet.

During the White House ceremony, Ganitch broke out into an impromptu rendition of “Remember Pearl Harbor!” The song is a tribute to the service members who lost their lives during the attack. Their sacrifice, and that of millions of other members of the military, is what Vonn and other athletes should be focused on when they consider whether or not to visit the White House.

Gratitude

Recently Americans celebrated Thanksgiving, a day Abraham Lincoln proclaimed would be dedicated to giving thanks and “praise to our Father who dwells in the Heavens.”

Gratitude doesn’t seem to come easily these days. Opinions polls show Americans are unhappy with our core institutions, our politicians, and the direction of our country.

We no longer even agree on what it means to be an American. Patriotism is on the wane as more than one-third of millennials say they are “not very” patriotic.  How sad.

Football used to be a welcome Thanksgiving Day ritual and a break from the stresses of everyday life. But now fans are forced to witness the spectacle of millionaire athletes demonstrating against national anthem, the flag, the police and the very meaning of America.

Are they grateful for anything this country has given them?

I know America isn’t perfect.  Our Founders knew that.  In fact, the preamble to the Constitution refers to the people and the government striving to form “a more perfect Union.”  But we do have much to be thankful for.

We are safer and more stable than most countries. Nobody starves from lack of resources in America, and fewer do worldwide than ever before, thanks in part to American charity and generosity. Many of our most prominent diseases are those of plenty, not of poverty.

If you are like most Americans, you are already in hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, which, sadly, has become overly commercialized. Many of us are guilty of thinking about what we are going to get.

Instead, we should delight in our blessings, and we can do so by stopping and reflecting on them. Science suggests that simply by recalling all that we have to be thankful for we can feel more grateful and grow emotionally and physically healthier.

In the days and weeks ahead, instead of focusing on the presents we might get, I hope we can focus on the presence of God and the great gift He gave to us. That is something for which I am eternally grateful.

Remembering Pearl Harbor

Amid the hustle and bustle of the season, we don’t want you to forget that today, December 7, 2017, marks the 76th anniversary of Japan’s attack on the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbor.

The attack began America’s involvement in World War II. It is sad and dangerous that many young Americans are more interested in condemning their country, protesting the flag and second-guessing previous generations than they are in understanding what happened on this day 76 years ago and how each generation must defend liberty. This is a great time to speak to your children and grandchildren about what it took to win World War II.

Fewer and fewer men and women from the Greatest Generation are still alive. Thank them while you still can.

Islamist Threats In Jerusalem

The left is predicting that President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will cause Islamic inspired violence against Americans.  But Islamic supremacists were attacking us, Israel and our other allies, Christians, Jews and even other Muslims for years before President Trump did the right thing on Jerusalem yesterday.

We have seen 9/11, beheadings, churches bombed, synagogues destroyed, Israeli women and children stabbed in the streets, young Europeans and Americans murdered at concerts, Christmas parties, nightclubs, rapes of “infidel” women, acid thrown in the faces of reformers, the list goes on and on.

Islamist apologists always have an excuse for the murderous violence.  It happened because someone touched a Koran, insulted Islam, made a movie, wrote an editorial, drew a cartoon of Mohammed, danced at a concert, celebrated Christmas, outlawed the veil, displayed the Star of David, touched foot on Muslim land, and of course, the most frequent excuse of all – supported Israel.

Anyone arguing that we should not do “x” because it will spark Islamic supremacist violence has already given up their freedom to the barbaric forces loose in the world.  President Trump was right to ignore those voices of weakness and surrender.

Justice Department Ready To Blow?

A few days ago the shocking news broke that Peter Strzok, deputy director of counterintelligence at the FBI, had been demoted because of evidence of left-wing political bias in his work.  Strzok led the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton and was on Robert Mueller’s team investigating Trump.

Now it is being reported that Bruce G. Ohr, a senior Justice Department official, has also been stripped of his post because of evidence that in the 2016 campaign he had contact with Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that was hired by Hillary Clinton’s campaign to hurt Trump.

This afternoon there are unconfirmed reports that the Inspector General’s office at Justice is investigating 27 officials for leaking sensitive information to the media.  Announcements about this investigation are expected at the end of 2017 or in early January 2018.  Stay tuned.
